- Ornithological Societies of North America
- Provides for timely and accurate mailing of the Societies' journals and billing for memberships and institutional subscriptions.
- Norwegian Polar Institute
- Or, as it is more commonly known, the Norsk Polarinstitutt. The Norwegian Polar Institute is Norway’s central institution for research, environmental monitoring and mapping of the polar regions. The Institute is the Norwegian authorities’ consultant and supplier of knowledge, and contributes to the best possible administration of Norwegian polar areas. Through active participation in national and international bodies, the Polar Institute is central when it comes to protecting national interests in matters of research and the environment. Approximately 110 man-years are employed at the Institute and a further 20 persons work at the Svalbard branch.
- Wetlands International - Goose Specialist Group
- The Goose Specialist Group of Wetlands International seeks to strengthen contacts between all researchers on migratory goose populations in the northern hemisphere. A database with goose censuses from the western palearctic is supported by a network of national coordinators. Annual meetings are held since 1995. At present 400 people have joined the group.
- Arctic Goose Joint Venture
- The Arctic Goose Joint Venture is part of the North American Waterfowl Management Plan, and involves researchers collaring geese in Canada, the United States, and Wrangel Island Russia. (Under construction...)
- The Wildlife Management Institute
- (WMI) is a private, nonprofit, scientific and educational organization. It is committed to the conservation, enhancement and professional management of North America's wildlife and other natural resources.
- The Wildlife Society
- The main home page(s) for the Wildlife Society and all its affiliations. Upcoming meetings, techincal issues and so forth.
- Environment Canada
- The Canadian Wildlife Service (CWS), part of Environment Canada, handles wildlife matters that are the responsibility of the federal government. These include protection and management of migratory birds, nationally significant habitat and endangered species, as well as work on other wildlife issues of national and international importance. In addition to its biological research, CWS is also known for its studies on the socioeconomic importance of wildlife. In 1997, the Canadian Wildlife Service (formerly Dominion Wildlife Service) celebrates its fiftieth year as a federal agency responsible for conserving Canadian wildlife.
- Ducks Unlimited, Inc
- The world's largest nonprofit wetlands, waterfowl, and wildlife conservation organization. Ducks Unlimited projects nurture waterfowl and 900 species of other wildlife throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
- Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust
- WWT's mission - to save wetlands for wildlife and people - reflects the importance that is attached to bringing people and wetland wildlife together, for the benefit of both. WWT meets its aims and objectives through programmes of conservation, research, education and public awareness, through various directorates.
- Institute for Wetlands and Waterfowl Research (IWWR).
- Established in 1991 by Ducks Unlimited, the IWWR is one of the most imaginative and visionary programs in the history of wildlife conservation. Since 1991, the IWWR has become a leader in bringing quality research and a scientific approach to the conservation of wetlands and waterfowl to the three North American Ducks Unlimited organizations; Ducks Unlimited Canada, Ducks Unlimited Inc., and Ducks Unlimited Mexico. The ongoing mission of the IWWR is to help guide conservation of waterfowl and wetlands by developing and sustaining a premier program of research and by educating professionals in wetland and waterfowl biology.
- Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center
- The NPWRC was established to (a) develop research information on the quantitative ecological requirements for sustainable wildlife populations, (b) to design and conduct studies of numbers and distribution of flora and fauna including identification of change resulting from habitat loss and modification, and (c) to disseminate the latest in technical information and research findings such that interested audiences benefit to the maximum extent possible.
- Office of Migratory Bird Management
- The Fish and Wildlife Service is the lead Federal agency for managing and conserving migratory birds in the United States. The Office of Migratory Bird Management is charged with carrying out the Service's responsibilities, which it does in concert with a host of participating partners, both domestic and foreign.
- North American Waterfowl Federation
- An organization which is intended to work individually and collectively in building a stronger, increasingly effective voice in the policy making, budgeting and implementation of programs and projects beneficial to the wetland resources of North America, and to raise funds to implement those projects.
- National Wildlife Health Center
- The National Wildlife Health Center (NWHC) is a Science Center of the Biological Resources Division of the United States Geological Survey located in Madison, Wisconsin. The NWHC was established in 1975 as a biomedical laboratory dedicated to assessing the impact of disease on wildlife and to identifying the role of various pathogens in contributing to wildlife losses.

- California Waterfowl Association
- Dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of Califronia's waterfowl & wetlands. Our Waterfowl Programs seek increases in populations of waterfowl, especially mallards, pintails, wood ducks, and Canada geese. Habitat programs include restoration and enhancement of all wetland and upland waterfowl habitats found in California. Staff biologists identify methods for overcoming problems that limit population growth, improve population monitoring methods, and provide assistance for non-traditional approaches to increasing waterfowl populations.
