GooseRef^© is an online bibliographic search system, devoted entirely to the primary scientific literature concerning geese. Currently consisting of ca. 2700 references (mostly papers and thesis titles), GooseRef was the very first online bibliography system.

I started GooseRef as more of an exercise in what I "could" do with the Web, than anything else. However, it has quickly taken on a life of its own. The database keeps growing, and I periodically try to add elements of sophistication to the search engine.

As you might imagine, this took a fair bit of time to put together. I would like to thank both Fred Cooke and the CWS/NSERC Wildlife Chair and the Arctic Goose Joint Venture for supplementing this effort. I couldn't have done it without them.
